Pioneer TS-A6993R

Pioneer TS-A6993R best and Great speakers. The bass is almost like "true bass". The clarity is outstanding. I would tell anyone this product is great and needs to be purchased. I think I'll need to purchase an Amp just to get the full effect of what this speaker has to offer. GREAT GREAT Pioneer TS-A6993R BUY!

removed the jbl factory system in my 95 town car these speaker sound great pioneer head unit no amp great highs mids and bass for the money u cant beat them. i have a 12in sub in my tahoe this puts out just as good , u cant go wrong

Update: The speakers sound great! And I recently installed a Pioneer GM6400F amplifier and the sound is greatly improved. So get an amplifier to get the most out of your sound system and speakers.

Original:So I was in search for a great upgrade for the front and rear speakers for my 2005 Camry XLE JBL speakers. I basically wanted to get better sound from my aging car and the though the JBL speakers were good, the lack of tweeters does deter from a great listening experience. And I found my car's system to be too boomy since the JBL set has a ReDistributed Subwoofer set up. So the first upgrade that I did were to replace the front and rear speakers with 6x9 5-way. OMG, the sound experience is amazing. They are a great upgrade to the JBL with a crisp, clear sound that is almost night and day with the old JBL. I prefer a Fader setup of R3 to have a more surround feel though I noticed that I will have put the volume to around 50. But I was able to replace all four 6x9 speakers for around $160. What a GREAT
Pioneer TS-A6993R BUY!!!

And if you want to save more money, have a local mom-and-pop audio installation do it for you. I had mine done for about $80.

I decided to put a 4 channel 600 watt Pioneer amplifier but that project is pending. And I'm thinking of replacing the dash speakers with Pioneer 2 way speakers. I'll keep you guys posted how that turns out.

So summary, if you want to upgrade your camry sound system, start with these though a new amplifier may be required.
